The Airplane Restaurant features a restored KC-97 tanker, a 1950s era in-flight refueling plane that was connected into the restaurant and its interior converted into a dining room. It's in Colorado Springs and it's a lot of fun, especially for kids and airplane fans. The vintage cockpit is open for visitors. This photo was taken by my brother Rich Romero on May 11, 2017.
